Chesterbrook Academy, part of Nobel Learning Communities, Inc., is seeking a dynamic Preschool Director in Alexandria, VA. The Principal provides the school with essential leadership skills to ensure the school's success by forging and maintaining meaningful relationships with parents, children, teachers, and the community. This position requires high-energy accomplished individuals, with the ability to plan and achieve positive educational and business results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carrying out the school’s mission.
- Overseeing the day to day operations.
- Educational program planning and assessment
- Oversight of ancillary and before and after -school programs.
- Financial management and budgeting.
- Staff management including: hiring, training, development and retention.
- Marketing and driving student enrollment

Job Requirements:
Requirements
- Degree in Early Childhood Education; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum two years leadership experience in a preschool.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; PC proficient.
- Experience with curriculum implementation and teacher assessments.
- Knowledgeable of preschool licensing requirements.
