Description: Our client is in need of Sales Representatives for their mobile educational assessment software designed to assist K-3 teachers in making quick, accurate assessments and instructional decisions.
This Person Will:
Assist in identifying and developing new selling opportunities
Will cultivate relationships with school administrators, principals and teachers
Be responsible forattaining quarterly and annual revenue goals
Keep updated on the current company technology in order to accurately demonstrate products
Be able to deliver professional sales presentations to school decision makers and close business
Attend sales meetings/training sessions in order to improve selling skills and develop product knowledge
Provide timely reports detailing pipeline, account plans and territory management details
Ensure repeat sales by working closely with the service team
Develop and maintain all territory management within an assigned geographic region
Maintain current knowledge of competitors and their products within the territory
Must contribute to the positive atmosphere of the company by exhibiting professional courtesy to all clients and staff
Job Requirements:
Qualifications Needed Are:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent relevant experience (educational degree a plus)
2 + years of work/sales experience
Strong oral / written communication skills
Ability to give professional sales presentations
Must have demonstrated ability to work independently with little supervision
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Attention to detail is critical
Computer proficiency in Excel, MS Office, e-mail and internet functions
Ability to travel within the territoryand occasionally nationwide
Experience teaching / working within K-12 environment is a strong plus
