South Florida – will cover entire Florida east coast to up to Jacksonville, based out of Ft. Lauderdale


About the position:

AVI-SPL is seeking energetic, motivated, and enthusiastic teaching professionals to sell our VariQuest ™ Visual Learning Tools, manufactured by Brady/Varitronics, to Pre-K- Grade 12 schools, and colleges/universities.
The use of the VariQuest™ Visual Learning Tools helps schools to Educate, Motivate, Communicate and raise funds.

The time is right to make a move and help schools wisely spend their stimulus funds on the technology that helps them achieve their educational objectives. More than 28,000 North American schools own and use these products and the number is growing rapidly.

Compensation: Base salary, open-ended commission plan
The opportunity to achieve 60k in earnings the first year is not unreasonable. Our successful reps consistently enjoy high five-figure incomes. Extensive sales, market and product training will be provided to help you on your way to a rewarding career.

· You will be responsible for conducting a minimum of six needs-based sales demonstrations each week during the school year, onsite at schools and colleges.
· You will effectively prospect and schedule appointments with school decision-makers (principals)
· You must be able to successfully open the call, effectively question to uncover needs, support needs with benefits, and close on each demonstration
· You will be expected to provide timely and appropriate follow up to close sales
· You will be expected to meet monthly established sales quotas
· You will work closely with sales management to develop and execute your sales plan

Job Requirements:

· Experience as a certified teacher in public schools, either currently or recently.
· Previous experience in B2B field sales, or verifiable experiences where effective interpersonal, organizational and time management skills were helpful
· Experience with CRM software helpful
· Personal automobile, valid driver’s license in good standing required and must carry 100/300 /50 insurance
