The Opportunity
Eduventures offers exciting opportunities for individuals with market research or consulting experience combined with a strong interest in higher education. The Company has immediate openings for Associates, Research Analysts, and Consultants. Eduventures seeks strong individual performers who can also contribute effectively to teams executing a range of qualitative and quantitative research methods to meet the specific needs of our college, university, and other clients. Frequent research methods we employ include online surveys, telephone interviews with executive-level contacts, focus groups, and Internet and database research. Team members are also expected to effectively advise clients in the course of critical decision-making activities related to their organizational success.
 
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of these roles include, but are not limited to:
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients
  • Managing and conducting qualitative and quantitative primary and secondary research to support client needs
  • Common research tasks include:
    • Secondary scans of higher education market characteristics
    • Primary research to assess demand for education products
    • Benchmarking and best-practices research
    • Data analysis and reporting (utilizing SPSS and Excel)
    • Writing summaries and analysis of research findings and education market trends
  • Leading the research, development, and writing of client-specific work products addressing the market research, benchmarking, or other information needs of individual clients
  • Delivering on-time, high-quality deliverables that exceed client expectations
  • Advising clients on critical business decisions based on credible evidence
Job Requirements:

 

  • Articulate, mature, self-starters with 2-5 years of experience, or more, in market research, consulting, and/or higher education
  • Strong analytical skills with qualitative and quantitative research experience
  • Strong written and verbal business communication skills and client service ethic
  • Exceptional writing skills; proven ability to transform key data into clear business commentary and action points
  • Strong presentation and client-facing skills
  • Expertise in managing relationships with colleagues, clients, and vendors
  • Business-oriented, entrepreneurial mind-set
  • Superior attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or above highly preferred
  • Experience in higher education is a plus, particularly in one of the following areas: university administration, online and continuing education, development and fundraising, K-12 education policy and teacher preparation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SPSS, STATA, or similar statistics package
 
This is a full-time, salaried role with benefits, based in our Boston office.
