KIPP NYC is the family of KIPP (Knowledge Is Power Program) charter schools and related services in New York City, all dedicated to teaching students the academic and character skills necessary for success in high school, college, and beyond.  Our NYC programs include four KIPP public middle schools (KIPP Academy, KIPP AMP, KIPP STAR and KIPP Infinity) and KIPP Through College, a comprehensive advocacy program that supports our alumni's success in their post-KIPP years.  This summer, we opened KIPP NYC College Prep High School, which serves the students graduating from our middle schools.  And we also opened KIPP Academy Elementary School - the first of four elementary schools that will join with our middle schools, high school, and KIPP Through College to provide our students and families with a K-16 continuum of programming and services.  KIPP NYC serves over 1,600 KIPP students and alumni, employs 200 remarkably talented professionals, and has a combined operating budget of nearly $30 million.  Upon realizing our current growth plan, KIPP NYC will serve over 3,500 students and employ more than 300 staff.
